The Annual Richard Juhlin Tasting 2022
For the twelfth year in a row, Richard Juhlin organized “The Richard Juhlin Champagne Tasting” on Lidingö outside Stockholm. Previously, the selected tasting group from Champagne Club has, among other things, tasted the market“s leading blanc de blancs, rosé, prestige cuvées and comparisons between a number of vintages.
Two new gold medals for Champagne Magnum Opus—Gourmand Cookbook Awards (june 2022)
In November 2021 Richard Juhlin was awarded Gold for the book “A scent of Champagne“. This year RJ is nominated as “Winer author of the year“ and “Best French Wine Book“ for the epic book Champagne Magnum Opus.
Past week in Umeå, a city in the north of Sweden ot was time for Gourmand Cookbook Awards. Unofficial world championship for cook books and books on drinks. Richard Juhlin was awarded two new gold medals.
The two gold medals was awarded to Champagne Club by Richard Juhlin and Richard Juhlin in the categories; Best French Wine Book and Wine Author of the Year.
The selection of the Gourmand Awards give an overview of the best around the world. There are 1,558 selections from 227 countries and regions. It is the maximum we ever had. There are 1,393 for Food Culture and 165 for Drink Culture.
Exiting news is that “Champagne Magnum Opus“ will be published in English by Rizzoli in December 2022.
